Lacrosse teams are known to be strong and mostly a good built. The reason for this is the sport allows everyone who is playing to push themselves to be fit. In this sport, you cannot be one who easily runs out of breath, but at the same time, this will certainly teach you to be the exact opposite. The idea is that you need around the field quite often throughout the couple hours you are playing, and it instantly helps to grow your muscles and make you a stronger person, not only to play but also in general.

This game can be a bit hard to train alone and this can be seen as a great advantage. Most of your training, if not all, are always done with the rest of the team. The reason why this is so great is that you get to bond with them and make friends. Think of this as if you are going to the gym. When you go to a center, you are expected to work your core, arms, and legs. Well, this game does just that. The constant running around the field targets your legs and thighs. Whilst the swinging of the bat and holding it whilst running get your arms in shape. When you hit the bat, you have to use your core for strength. So, you are basically at a gym, but having more fun.

You will be happy to know that if you wish to lose weight, this is one way it can happen. And compared to going to a gym, it can happen much faster here. Keep in mind the game lasts up to a couple hours with very short breaks in between, so to be running around often, you will surely lose the weight fast.

The game teaches you to stay aware of your surroundings and such lessons you will always take with you and practice every day. For instance, you have to be aware of where the ball is at all times, always keep an eye on it especially when it is close by so that you are able to catch it or hit it. And by practicing your coordination, you won t miss it. If you do, you cost your team the point.

Socialization is a great lesson also. When you get close to your team, you end up making friends and taking it onto the field which is how teamwork is formed. The game doesn t allow for one person to win or lose, everyone is responsible, and this is the main reason why everyone needs to work together.

Health and fitness are vital to every person. And whether you do it through sport or not, it still has to be done to live a happy and long life.
